 The project file foo.csproj cannot be opened.
The project type is not supported by this installation.

Hat jemand eine Ahnung, woran das liegen kann? Visual C# ist auf jeden Fall installiert!

 Ich glaube sogar, diese Seite habe ich auch schon gefunden, war mir aber unsicher, was ich da genau löschen muss. Die Projektdatei sieht so aus:

Und der FlavorProperties-Tag sieht nicht wirklich nach einem Project Type Element aus.

ersetzt werden und die GUID darunter gelöscht.
Vieleicht ist es einfacher Du erstellst ein neues Projekt und übernimmst nur den Quelltext.

 Das funktioniert bei mir nicht. Dieser Thread scheint auch relativ interessant z usein: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vswpfdesigner/thread/06cf7bca-982c-44cf-aec9-99cf399b3000

Allerdings verstehe ich eher weniger von dem, was die reden. Ich habe mich jetzt mal den dem devenv.exe/setup probiert. Allerdings weiß ich nicht wie man das richtig ausführt. Anscheinend ist die devenv.exe in CProgramme\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE gemeint, aber da gibts auch jemanden, der behauptet, man müsste einfach ne VC Command Prompt aufmachen und das da direkt eingeben. In dem Verzeichnis gibt es zwar keine devenv.exe, aber der command funktioniert komischerweise trotzdem, es passiert nur gar nichts.
Wenn ich die richtige devenv.exe ausführe passiert auch nichts, es sei denn, ich lasse das /setup weg, dann startet ganz normal Visual Studio.
